 On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, Cinemagica, in collaboration with Piorni, hosted an event under the concept “Living the Space, Feeling the Story,” presenting a new perspective on residential space design—one that goes beyond aesthetics and functionality to place greater emphasis on the feelings and experiences that emerge when people truly live within a space.

Throughout the event, guests were invited to explore an approach to spatial design that seamlessly integrates Furniture, Interior Design, and Home Entertainment. Piorni showcased furniture and design concepts that reflect the personality and individuality of each resident, while Cinemagica brought spaces to life through immersive audiovisual experiences. Together, these elements demonstrated how a living space can thoughtfully respond to both practical needs and individual lifestyles.

For Cinemagica, this collaboration with Piorni reflects an important belief: a well-designed audiovisual system does not have to exist separately from the overall design of a home. Instead, it can become an integral part of the space, blending naturally with the interior and the lifestyle of those who live there.

“Living the Space, Feeling the Story” was therefore more than a showcase of furniture or audiovisual systems. It was a presentation of a broader vision for creating spaces that convey atmosphere, emotion, and stories—each uniquely reflecting the identity of the homeowner.

Goldenduck Malaysia returned to ARCHIDEX 2026, Asia’s Leading Architecture Business Event, held at MITEC from 29 July to 1 August 2026. For our third consecutive year at the international architecture, interior design and building exhibition, we took a more artistic and functional approach to booth design — moving beyond a conventional product display to create a space where audio-visual technology, design and sensory experience come together. 

This year, three key experiences shaped the showcase: 3D Projection Mapping, The Speaker Art Wall, and a dedicated Home Cinema Room. Each explored a different way audio-visual technology can become part of the spatial experience.

The 3D Projection Mapping experience, supported by Appotronics and powered by AiMapper, took visual storytelling a step further. Visitors could use AI to prompt and create their own visual and video animations, transforming the projection surface into a dynamic canvas. The experience demonstrated how projection technology can move beyond traditional screen viewing to create more immersive and imaginative experiences within a space. From hospitality and cultural spaces to art and experiential environments, projection mapping can become another creative layer in spatial design. If your project calls for immersive visuals or projection mapping, we are ready to sit down, understand the space and explore what is possible together. 

We extended this spirit of collaboration through a projection mapping collaboration with neighbouring partner Aerahaus, while QiLS Lighting helped shape the atmosphere and Ottimo Arte acoustic panels were integrated as a functional curtain element. Together, these collaborations reflected our belief that thoughtful spaces are created when different expertise, materials and disciplines come together. 

At the centre of this approach was The Speaker Art Wall, anchored by the statement: “Sound has a form. Form has a voice.” Each speaker represented a different approach to integrating technology with design, inviting visitors to rethink audio not simply as equipment, but as an architectural element that contributes to the character, atmosphere and experience of a space. More importantly, the wall reflected how we approach every project: understanding the client’s needs, lifestyle and spatial design, before carefully selecting and professionally integrating the right solutions for the space.

The highlight of the showcase was our compact Home Cinema Room, featuring a Paradigm speaker system from Canada and demonstrating how a dedicated space can deliver an immersive Dolby Atmos experience even within a smaller footprint. From room planning and acoustic considerations to speaker positioning and system integration, the setup showed that great cinematic experiences begin with thoughtful design — not simply the size of the room. 

More than an exhibition display, the showcase reflected a broader shift in how residential spaces are being designed. Architects and interior designers are increasingly expected to create complete environments where aesthetics, functionality and performance work together. Goldenduck MY supports this process through professional audio-visual consultation, system design and integration — from architectural speakers and home entertainment systems to dedicated home cinema and immersive visual experiences.

July 2026, As a proud member of the Malaysian Interior Industry Partners Association (MIIP), CINEMAGICA by Goldenduck recently welcomed fellow MIIP members to our Sound & Vision Gallery for a casual networking and showroom experience. MIIP is a community that brings together suppliers, manufacturers, fit-out contractors, and service providers within Malaysia's interior design and build industry, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and stronger industry connections.

The visit provided a great opportunity for members to better understand what we do beyond home entertainment solutions. Through live demonstrations and conversations, guests experienced how sound, visual technology, and thoughtful system integration can complement modern interior design and elevate everyday living. More importantly, the session allowed us to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections with industry partners.

Goldenduck Malaysia welcomed Mr. Bartosz Hajbowicz, Business Development Manager, Middle East and Asia from Paradigm and Anthem Canada, to our CINEMAGICA Sound & Vision Gallery for an exclusive and intimate dealer session. Designed as a boutique gathering, the session brought together selected audio industry partners from across Malaysia, providing them with a closer look into the brand heritage, engineering excellence, and latest innovations of these two renowned Canadian audio brands.

The session introduced Paradigm and Anthem’s brand heritage, product lineup, core technologies, and latest innovations, providing dealers with a deeper understanding of what sets the brands apart in the premium audio market.

The session attracted enthusiastic participation from dealers across the Klang Valley, as well as the outstation regions of Malaysia. Throughout the afternoon, attendees engaged directly with Mr. Bartosz through interactive Q&A sessions and live product demonstrations. These hands-on experiences allowed dealers to better appreciate the performance, engineering, and technology behind both brands, while gaining valuable knowledge to support future customer recommendations.

Beyond a product presentation, the session served as an important platform to strengthen relationships with our dealer network and foster closer collaboration within the audio industry. Through direct engagement with brand representatives,

CINEMAGICA by Goldenduck MY recently curated The Frequency, a two-day in-gallery event in June’206, designed to bring together sound, design, creativity, and meaningful connections. Across the two curated sessions, In-Sound and In-Green, our gallery welcomed interior designers, creative minds, partners and friends of the brand to experience our Sound & Vision Gallery in a different way.

In-Sound was brought to life by Jake from Dot Works. As the designer behind our Sound & Vision Gallery, Jake also stepped behind the decks as a DJ, bringing a different rhythm and energy to the space. Through this collaboration, we wanted to show that an audio-visual gallery is not just a place to experience sound, but also a space where sound can be discovered and felt in many different ways. 

The following session, In-Green, took a different direction as we welcomed Wei Ching, founder of Litigreen to explore the relationship between greenery, sound, and design. Through the thoughtful integration of plants within our gallery environment, the session explored how nature and sound can be seamlessly integrated into a space to create a more balanced and immersive experience. 

More than just an in-gallery event, The Frequency created a platform for conversations, creative exchange, and new connections across the design and lifestyle community.

At the Gala Dinner, we presented a bold interpretation of Lyngdorf Audio by creatively pairing two units of the Lyngdorf FR-2 as one channel setup, transforming four speakers into a single, powerful pair. This distinctive configuration created a wider, more immersive soundstage that complemented the sophistication of the evening, showcasing how innovative audio integration can enhance both design aesthetics and acoustic performance. Seamlessly connected with a curated DJ set, the system brought the ballroom to life, transitioning the atmosphere from an elegant pre-dinner setting into a relaxed and vibrant social experience, where guests enjoyed smooth rhythms, meaningful conversations, and a night of effortless connection. 

A proud highlight of the evening was the recognition of the CINEMAGICA showroom, which received the Gold category award for Best Commercial Design, designed by Jake from Dot Works Sdn Bhd. On May 21–22, 2026, Anthem ARC Workshop 2026 brought together audio professionals, system integrators, installers, and enthusiasts for an in-depth learning experience focused on room acoustics analysis and audio system optimization using Anthem Room Correction (ARC). The workshop served as a platform for knowledge sharing, hands-on training, and professional development, helping participants enhance their technical expertise in modern audio calibration.

Throughout the workshop, attendees explored the principles and functionality of Anthem Room Correction (ARC), a sophisticated acoustic correction technology designed to analyze room characteristics and optimize system performance through precise frequency response adjustments. The program combined theoretical knowledge with practical demonstrations, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of how room acoustics influence overall audio performance.

A key component of the workshop was the hands-on training session, where participants worked directly with the ARC software. From measurement procedures and data interpretation to system optimization and calibration techniques, attendees gained practical experience that can be applied to real-world installations across a variety of listening environments.

One of the highlights of the event was the live comparison between audio systems before and after ARC calibration. These demonstrations clearly illustrated the impact of proper room correction, showcasing significant improvements in tonal balance, clarity, imaging, and overall listening performance.
